My wife called me out on what should have been a beautiful summer's walk as a family. She told me I wasn't really with them. I was there physically, but mentally I was in a completely different place. She was right. Despite being with those I love, outside in nature which I love, I was consumed by work, worrying about how much I had to do, the deadlines and how on earth I was going to cope. Two weeks later I suffered full blown burnout in the office and my life changed forever.
